About Peter
I've been taking photographs for many years, but I've never really been able to settle on just one type of photography.
My camera has taken me from landscapes and coastlines to people, architecture, travel, astrophotography in the UK under night skies and more recently into abstract and intentional camera movement photography. I enjoy the challenge of very different subjects, and I think that variety is reflected in the photographs collected here.
Photography for me has always been about more than simply recording what is in front of the camera. Sometimes it's about capturing a moment or a person's character; sometimes it's about the atmosphere of a place; and sometimes it's about seeing something familiar in a completely different way.
Now retired, I have the time to revisit many of the photographs I've taken over the years and, rather than leaving them sitting unseen on hard drives, I've decided to make some of my favourites available as prints.
I've never set out to be a commercial photographer. These are simply photographs I enjoy and am proud of, and if one of them finds its way onto somebody else's wall and gives them as much pleasure as it gave me taking it, that's a pretty good result.

If you've found an image you'd like to have on your wall, please get in touch. Prints can be produced in a variety of sizes and finishes, including canvas and photographic paper, and I'm happy to discuss the options with you.
If you have a particular size or presentation in mind, or perhaps you'd like an image that isn't currently listed as available, just ask. I'll do my best to accommodate you.
Many of my prints hang in my home, and if you’d like to see a particular photograph in person I can arrange to display it in a small gallery space I have in the Retford Kings Park Antique Centre over a few days for you to view.
